Myanna & Porter : pockets

While getting Porter dressed (and putting on his new belt), he finds a pocket.

"I have a pocket!"

Enter Myanna.

"I need a belt too. Just like you Porter."

Porter finds Myanna's pocket.

"You have a pocket!"

Myanna: "yep, I have a pocket in back too."

Porter: "I have a back pocket, too!"

Myanna: "...and look here, (at Porter's backside pocket).

Yours is more special-er because it has velcro!"

Porter: "Mommy, can I have some money. I need money in here."

Points to his pocket.

Porter : Snack

Mom: "Does anyone want lunch?"

Porter: "No, I'm all snacked-up."

Dane : Domestic Goddess

Lynda : "Where do these spare socks go?"

Dane : "Just put them on my bed."

Jenn : "Dane, here's the basket for spare socks."

Dane : "WELL... if I was a Domestic Goddess I would have KNOWN that!!"

Myanna : 2 fwont teef

Myanna lost her 2nd front tooth today!

SOOOO cute and I don't have a camera yet.

And she is the CLASSIC kid with the missing two front teeth.

Myanna's prayer at dinner:

"And plethe bleth the toof fewy (fairy) to come tonight."

( I was SO glad Dane asked her to say the prayer tonight!)

Debany : Vocabulary

Something was really funny at the dinner table.

Everyone laughed, and Myanna laughed so hard that she snorted!

Debany:

"Myanna snorkled!"

Porter : Stomach Rabbits

Porter: "Mom, I have stomach rabbits."

Mom: "You have STOMACH RABBITS???"

Porter: "uh-huh"

Mom: "What's that?"

Porter makes a sound in his mouth: "That was my stomach rabbits!"

Mom: "Oh my goodness!"

Porter snorts.

Mom: "Was that your stomach rabbits?"

Porter: "No. I think that was a goat."

Debany : Sick

(Debany wanted to stay up and help clean and prep for the potluck tomorrow. I told Debany that she had to go to bed because when you're sick, you need lots of sleep to get better. And that it's no fun being sick.)

Later, in the middle of the night she pulled me close and said:

"Mom, you know how you said being sick isn't fun?

... You were right."
